Request the I.RIS catalog, our system for digitizing material displays, which improves your customers’ shopping experience.
Imagine walking into a showroom or construction materials store and being able to touch and feel the materials as usual, but with something extra: the ability to instantly visualize how they would look in a real project, along with technical information about the model.

Choosing a material is an important decision, which is why we developed I.RIS, a solution for digitizing construction materials displays to make the shopping experience more complete, interactive, and immersive.
With technology integrated into the displays, it’s now possible to bring the sample to life and transform the way customers interact with it.
What is I.RIS?
I.RIS (Intelligence Revolutionary INSCA System) is the system we developed at INSCA in collaboration with the Universitat Jaume I. It allows you to view the final ambience and technical information in real time from the exhibitor’s physical sample.

At INSCA, we have three versions that can be integrated into most of the building materials displays in our catalog:
- V01 works with a sensor system applicable to tile display cabinets.
- V02 has a scanner that can be integrated into shelves and technical benches for displaying samples.
- V03 works with a mobile scanner, perfect for tile libraries and technical shelving for displaying individual pieces.
For customers, choosing without seeing the final result is complicated. They want to touch the ceramics, but also imagine how they will look in their home or project.
That’s why I.RIS merges the physical with the digital to transform the shopping experience at building materials exhibitions.
What are the advantages of digitizing a materials display with I.RIS?
- Digitize your tile, bathroom, and construction materials display.
- Increase display capacity with seamless integration into the display.
- Facilitate purchasing decisions by allowing the display of different environments in a single display.
- Greater security and satisfaction in the choices your customers make.
- Your customers can see, touch, and feel the texture of the physical sample.
- Your sales team accesses technical information in real time.

Version 01: Sensors in drawers for displaying floor tiles
Version 01 of I.RIS works with a complex system of sensors integrated into the tile storage drawers in our catalog. Thus, when one of the trays is removed, the room and technical information for the displayed piece appear on a screen.
Which tile rack display can it be used in?
The first application of the I.RIS system was the Oregon tile display unit. This system can be connected to several drawers at once, linked to a single screen.

At INSCA, we have developed various compositions to serve as inspiration when configuring this display solution for tiles:
- Composición 190 for displaying 600 x 600 mm tiles.
- Composición 191 for displaying 600 x 600 mm and 1200 x 600 mm tiles.
- Composición 192 for displaying 1200 x 600 mm tiles.
- Composición 193 for displaying 600 x 600, 750 x 750, and 800 x 800 mm tiles.
Version 02: Advanced Scanning in Displays for Technical Areas
In this version, using small samples measuring less than 30×30 cm, a code is scanned, and the room and technical information appear on the screen thanks to a sensor integrated into tile display systems.

It’s a convenient, practical, and agile system that facilitates customer interaction with the samples. Plus, with this version, you can manage up to 1,000 tiles to offer a more personalized shopping experience.
V02 is a perfect solution for integration into pieces technical shelving for displaying ceramic and technical benches for displaying samples, expanding the presentation possibilities in exhibition spaces.
Which tile display unit can this be used on?
Version 02 can be integrated into the tile, bathroom, and building materials displays in our catalog, such as the Milan Wall technical wall for displaying samples, the I Nostri Banchi or UP! technical bench for displaying tiles, and the Roma Muestras sliding tile display.

Therefore, if you’re asking how to create a digitalized technical area in building materials exhibition, we’ve designed sample layout examples where you can apply this system:
- Composición 212: Technical wall for displaying loose samples with 18 sample holders.
- Composición 211: Bench combination with the UP! 4 Open drawer unit and an integrated work table to facilitate customer interaction.
Version 03: Mobile scanner integrated into tile libraries
In this version of the I.RIS system, a mobile scanner reads labels attached to tiles measuring at least 30×30 cm.

Therefore, simply by swiping the barcode reader, the technical information and room settings for that material instantly appear on the screen. A perfect solution for integration into ceramic display cabinets and technical tables for displaying tiles.
Which ceramic tile showroom display can this be used with?
This version can be integrated into the tile display systems in our catalog: the Tile Library, Ceramotecas, Ceramoteca UP! series, and the M8 display from the UP! series.

At INSCA, as a manufacturer of tile displays, these are the examples of layouts we have designed:
- Composición 159: This modular display has 8 modules: a small rack, two slotted shelves, a clothes rack, an MH Loose module, two Chicago modules, and a large rack.
- Composición 142: This modular technical shelving arrangement allows for the display of 154 ceramic pieces with a maximum thickness of 12 mm.
- Composición 222: Modular shelving allows for the display of more than 200 individual pieces and combines different display solutions from the Ceramotecas series.
- Composición 223: This arrangement consists of two M8 drawer units from the I Nostri Banchi series. This translates into a total of 16 closed drawers for displaying tiles.
Thanks to its flexibility and ease of integration, I.RIS version 03 allows you to digitize technical shelving and ceramic shelving without sacrificing the physical display of the pieces.
Transform your showroom with a digital and interactive showroom
In conclusion, digitizing your building materials showroom doesn’t mean losing the essence of the tangible, but rather enhancing it. I.RIS offers a more interactive and immersive experience, facilitating customer selection and providing real-time information in an intuitive way for the sales team.

With our three versions, you can integrate this technology into most of the building materials displays in our catalog, expanding your presentation possibilities without sacrificing direct contact with the sample. Discover how to transform your showroom with I.RIS. Contact us!
