Geotiles, a company within the Pamesa Group, presents Geoda, its new 1,600 m² showroom, which strengthens the brand’s positioning and expands its display capacity.
The space houses over 2,000 product references organised into 26 technical ambiences and four domestic room settings (bathroom suite, dining room, kitchen, terrace). Furthermore, the space is divided into areas for promotional products, slabs, wood, outdoor products and a technical area for small-format tiles featuring a backlit tile library.
The architectural design of the showroom was developed by Summumstudio. At INSCA, as tile display rack manufacturers, we were responsible for the manufacture and assembly of all the decorative tile display stand (such as the tile sample displays or our classic London sliding tile display panel), working in close collaboration with the studio.
In this regard, the project was carried out in two phases. Firstly, the 1,000 m² extension of the existing exhibition space and, secondly, the integration of the new space with the original showroom.
One of the most distinctive aspects of the project was the work on the ceilings, which reached heights of up to 7 metres. Here, we transformed the original industrial feel of the warehouse by installing textile canvases suspended at different heights, creating a warmer and more welcoming environment.
Furthermore, the lighting by Arkoslight, designed to guide visitors’ journey and draw their gaze towards the product, plays a fundamental role. In other words, each light source is calibrated to highlight the volumes, textures and nuances of the ceramic material without distorting its appearance.
The style of the ceramic showroom, designed by Summum, is characterised by straight lines and bold volumes, featuring materials such as iron and lacquered wood. At INSCA, we have created display tile fixtures that reinforce this understated and elegant aesthetic, incorporating dark brown tones that lend warmth and balance, moving away from an overly cold interpretation of black.
The result is a sensory and technical showroom, where light, space and display systems work in unison to showcase Geotiles’ products and reflect our ability to transform demanding architectural ideas into precise display solutions.
