ambientes para exponer cerámica
  • Vila-real (Spain)
  • 265 m2

We have been in charge of the design, manufacture and assembly of the ceramic showroom Boutique de Vidres, a 265 m2 space that celebrates five decades in the ceramic industry.

This project pays tribute to its trajectory through a unique sensory experience. The exhibition materialises the journey of the tile production process, from its origin inside the frit kiln to the finished product, integrating textures, lighting and technology.

The architecture and design of the showroom breaks with straight lines to give way to organic shapes on walls and ceilings, where each surface has been designed with handcrafted precision. The execution of the curved coving and rounded corners has been a technical challenge, solved by combining plasterboard, solid wood and sprayed plaster.

The lighting project for the exhibition of materials  responds to an ambitious approach, with a domotised system to configure different ambiences for displaying ceramics. Strategic lighting elements have been installed, such as rails with spotlights or large-format backlights to highlight textures and finishes. The distribution of light reinforces the enveloping sensation of the space to enhance the immersive experience for visitors.

The layout of the space at two heights, with an entrance at 2.68 m and a back room at 3.68 m, adds dynamism to the route, integrating the accesses to other areas in a fluid way.

Every detail of the showroom has been carefully worked to give life to a space with its own identity, where ceramics is presented as a story of innovation, tradition and design thanks to the bespoke display solutions for building materials.
