We sent 4000 m2 of stands to Cersaie

For this edition, the design has been marked by health and safety measures.

Cersaie, the International Exhibition of Ceramics for Architecture and Bathroom Equipment, will open on 27 September. As a leading company in display systems for ceramics and bathrooms, “at INSCA we have been working hard all summer to design and manufacture the stands for our clients, which will occupy a surface area of around 4,000 m2 at the Italian trade fair”, explains Pascual Ibáñez, CEO of INSCA.

The process, which will conclude with the assembly of the displays at Cersaie, involved a team of more than 100 professionals in architecture, interior design, engineering, carpentry, painting and assembly. “We have made a great deployment to be able to respond to all the demand we have had. A year without Cersaie has shown us that ceramics has to be touched, the sector is very lively, the tile manufacturers are going to present many new products and we have taken care of creating the exhibition solutions to match their collections”, Ibáñez stresses.

In order for everything to be ready, this week INSCA has started loading the trucks with the stands bound for Bologna. This process is being carried out in stages and will continue over the next few days. At the same time, the entire team of assemblers will travel to Italy to assemble the stands in just a few days.

Safety measures mark the design of the stands

In order to ensure that Cersaie is a completely safe space, the fair organisers have established a series of health and safety measures.

Some of these measures have directly affected the design of the stands of the companies exhibiting at Cersaie. “The Italian trade fair is the sector’s first major European on-site event, and it is a highly anticipated moment when our clients will close important business deals, which is why INSCA has worked hard to ensure that they do so in safe exhibition spaces,” explains INSCA’s CEO.

Thus, in order to achieve a smooth flow of traffic and avoid crowds at the stands, “this year we have defined the route as a circuit with entry and exit points,” says Laura Pardo, head of the INSCA design and innovation department.

In addition, open spaces have been prioritised, a mesh fabric has been used on the ceiling to encourage ventilation, the installation of social areas within the stands has been more restricted, and tables and meeting areas have been designed so that interlocutors can respect the safety distance.

INSCA’s commercial furniture coatings are coated with inorganic antimicrobial additive solutions, both on the surface and inside the wood and metal lacquers. In addition, HPL and compact laminates that destroy 99% of bacteria are integrated.

It should be noted that, like all INSCA’s tile showrooms, the design of each stand is completely customised. According to Ibáñez, “INSCA’s solutions are developed so that the ceramic collections have absolute prominence, the visits are pleasant and the commercial work is very productive. Our objective is always the same, to help our clients to grow”.
